so ive been babysitting my cousins during the day while their parents are at work. They’re 3 and 4 and have tons of energy and very short attention spans. Ive tried crafts but they get bored. I have to keep them inside cause it is so hot where we live. So any ideas on indoor activities?

I taught science camp for a few summers and obviously my audience was tailored to that type of thing but little experiments always went over well. Especially if they got to real something or blow something up.
Or build a fort inside and pretend camp, or make a recipe, or make up a play or dance.

Cardboard box fort followed by hide and seek and some sort of baking project. Decorating cupcakes or making sundaes is always fun.
Oh and let them customize the forts with stickers.

Why don’t you – make cookies, paint, coloring books, make your own pizzas, make forts/tents. I once got really big pieces of paper and traced my neice and nephew and then let them lay on the floor and color the pictures of them in to what they think they look like.

Read? Watch tv. Play games. Make a fort with couch pillows. Play I-spy. Go outside and play in the sprinkler.

@FutureMrs.browneyes: I love that tracing idea that sounds like so much fun!
Definitely I think I have to bake with them, I wanted to stay away from sugar but I think it’ll be fun for them
