I am thinking that custom made might be the way to go....any brides end up getting a custom made band to match their unique ring?
Yup! I consider my e-ring pretty unique and had a tough time finding a band....ended up going custom. They are coming up with some designs and should be calling me today to make a decision...I can't wait!
Oh my gosh, that is gorgeous! I had my wedding band custom made by the same jeweler that did my e-ring. But I agree, a pave ring would look good and maybe even one that follows the same shape and hugs the e-ring tightly. I say custom all the way!
hmmm it is really hard to explain...I will upload a picture tonight when I get home.
from the view looking onto your ring it looked like you had two bands connected to the one ring, and i was going to suggest you get a band made to go in the middle. but then looking at the next photo i see that it is joined.
custom made would probably be the way to go, maybe even looking into a band, or diamond and band look that went with the curves of this ring.
or look into having the band redone of your e-ring so that it does seperate and you can fit the wedding band inside of it.
I love your E-ring!! THe split shank and halo are two styles that I absolutely LOVE in a ring. However, I have found that for my friends with split -shanks or halo settings, a custom made band (or bands) is the best way to go. I got a custom made band and it wasn't too horrible of a process and it really wasn't any more expensive than if we had found the ring int he jeweler's case. I think a pave set band on either side, molded to the shape of your e-ring would be beautiful :)
oooooh your ring is beautiful!! i like that last picture of the band with that ring.
I love your ring... I had a similar problem and opted to not having a wedding band. I love the ring the way it is, and hate too much "stuff". We just used the e-ring for the ring ceremony... if i change my mind I can go get one. not mention it saved us some $
I know the Hearts on Fire company has a number of "scalloped" or "wavy" wedding bands to accomodate interestingly-shaped engagement rings. Check them out! Otherwise, I think custom's a great way to go.
I am finding myself in a similar situation! Try on rings every chance you get? That way you can see what you like and if it will work for you!

I have the most beautiful ring, but have been having trouble deciding what we will do for a band...I don't like the idea of wearing the band or my e-ring on separate hands. And I love my e-ring too much to part with it. I was thinking a thin band with pave diamonds could work, but am wondering what other brides have done to match their fancy rings.
So here is my ring.....what do you think would work with it?
