It’s driving me crazy, I am pretty slim overall except the gross stomach flab. I’ve been running on treadmill and doing some sit ups etc.. but its not really working, and tried and tested tips??
I am going to cuba in a month so I would really like to get rid of atleast some of it before I wear a bikini!!!

@Starshine32: I do crunches/situps hanging over the side of a bench from the waist up. That also gave me that nice “line” down the middle.

Eat less carbs and sugar and drink less alcohol.
Just as a side, I love how this is my top complaint as well, and I keep acting like I don’t know what to do about it. And here I am giving advice. Classic example of “do as I say not as I do”. BAH

Clean up your diet!!! No processed foods, fast food, or soft drinks. Reduce your sodium and increase your water intake. Avoid high glycemic index foods (white bread, white rice, white pasta, white potatoes) and opt for slowly digesting, low glycemic, slow burning carbs (veggies, sweet potatoes, brown rice).
Also, lift weights. Lift heavy weights 2-3 times a week. You’ll be more toned over all, and it will also increase your lean mass so your body will burn more even at rest.

PLANK! Plank plank plank. As much as I hate to say it, it’s true. Any variation on plank is (in my experience) the best way to work on flattening. Regular ol’ crunches and sit-ups are great for ab definition, but don’t work the same transverse ab muscles that actually help to flatten as much as planks will.

@Starshine32: The saying that “Abs are made in the kitchen” is TRUE! Clean up your diet – get rid of sugar and processed foods (especially swapping enriched for whole grains!) and you’ll see a difference!!
