Instead of a speech how about a reading at the ceremont. You can choose the reading.

Or you could ask him to be an escort. He could escort your mom down the aisle before the procession of bridal party.

Well the escort things changes with each person. My stepfather escorted me down the aisle so my brother escorted my mother. My DH’s brother escorted his grandmother. My MIL and FIL walked together. Is there someone else you want to “involve” in a special way that needs an escort?

I’m having my older brother stand on my side with the bridesmaids. (And no, he won’t be wearing a bridesmaid dress.)

I have two step brothers and also wanted to incorporate them. We decided that they would serve as our ushers. This makes them officially part of the wedding party, and they will be getting a tux like the other men. Makes them feel involved, without having to change up the plans too much.

I was also struggling with this since my bro wasnt in the bridal party and I really wanted to involve him. He will be giving a speech….Im happy with the suggestions given here, maybe i can also ask my brother to do a reading at the ceremony.
