Have u looked at Davis Island Garden Club....Thats where me and the FI are getting married...Cheap and u get it all day....normally books up quickly though....the good/bad part is u have to do everything youself....check it out!
@beccanmatt08: A couple of places that are affordable in Tampa Bay are:
East Bay Country Club: http://www.eastbaycc.com/
Banquet Masters: http://www.banquetmasterscatering.com/
Here's a tip: stay away from the popular beach locations. Mandatory gratuities are a minimum of 21% on top of your food and beverage minimums and taxes!
@beccanmatt08:Hi! I know exactly how you feel, Im a tampa bride too, & a student on a budget for 200+ guest wedding. The best place we found is columbia restaurant.
We are doing a lunch reception since it cut the price down significantly!.
we are paying less than $22 a person & they include tables & white or ivory linens.
i'm not sure if you've been there but the location is beautiful (historic) & the food is fabulous!
here is a pic of the room we will have our reception.
They are very nice & will help you with anything you need.
:]
good luck!

they also have round tables of 8-9 ppl/per/table. :] i hope this helps!
Lake Mirror Complex in Lakeland is cheap... and beautiful... we are getting married at the Peggy brown building... the disadvantage is you have to book in advance.
@krystal.keel: I just went onto the website it looks really nice..... i just called and got prices it looks like it might be the winner!!
@beccanmatt08: awesome! The best part is it is so close to Lake mirror, hollis gardens, etc. that when it comes to pictures, there are so many wonderful backdrops!
I hope you love it as much as I do!
Club Renaissance in Sun City is absolutely gorgeous and very affordable. No room charge for weddings! www.clubrenaissancescc.com.
Not sure if you've found a place or not but check out Keel and Curley Winery in Plant City. That's where we're getting hitched. It's crazy cheap. $600 for the whole facility that includes tables, chairs, and the gazeebo for the ceremony.
