@asianbarbie:  I’m going to be blunt. Saying “Really busy, sorry” WILL NOT make her get it. It will, in fact, make her think you want to talk to her, but you’re really busy. Why don’t you block her number? Then she wouldn’t be able to call, text or leave voicemails.

@asianbarbie:  I understand that you don’t want to be mean to her, but if you keep repsonding to her she will continue to reach out to you. If you don’t have the guts (and I’m not saying that in a snarky way, you seem like a nice person) to tell her the truth, then you have to just stop talking to her. She lives 2000 miles away, you’re not going to run into her. Just leave it be and she will eventually take the hint.

@asianbarbie: I wish I had seen the original thread earlier, because I totally disagree with a lot of the advice on there. I think you should definitely be honest with her. Stringing her along (even if you’re doing so by ignoring her) is unfair to both of you.
