- Wedding: February 2015
Im currebtly on the hunt for my wedding gown and really hope to find one in the next few weeks as our wedding is less than 7 minths away. I find tons of gowns I love, but still haven’t had that ” wow” feeling and I think I’m starting to suspect why.
Ive recently put on a few pounds since I atarted a new stresful job ( which I love, but I really need to fix those bad eating habits!) Im a generally fit person and notice right away when I gain a few pounds and don’t feel at my best. To the point where whenever I try on dresses, that’s all I can think about. When I come out and look at the mirror, I have trouble looking past the few pounds I gained (maybe 10-15) and can’t focus on the dress. I know I can lose the weight before the wedding no problem, but I feel like it’s preventing me to find ” the dress” since I have a hard time imagining what it would look like when I’m back to a weight I’m comfortable with. I know that may not seem like that much weight but to me it makes a noticeable difference.
So far I have a top three gown, but now I’m even wondering whether I only picked these gowns because they were too tight for me and had a slimming effect. ( too tight like I could never sit in them and definitely need to order a bigger size). I’m afraid to miss out on my perfect dress because I can’t stop focusing on my newly found flab so much. Anyone has experienced this before? Tips? i could appreciate any advice.. Sigh.
