Hi! I am new to this site, I recently got engaged and am starting the planning process. My fiance and I are getting married in November of 2016 and are looking for a place to hold the ceremony. We do not attend any church, so we really don’t feel the need to get married in a church. Also, since we are in Ohio, it will be entirely too cold to have an outdoor ceremony. I have been looking around and found a location at a local park that has the exact look we are going for: hardwood floors, wooden beams on the ceilings, simple chandiliers, and floor to ceiling windows overlooking the forest. However, the only problem is that it isn’t exactly designed for a wedding ceremony location. To enter into the ceremony, I would have to come through a set of doors, make a right, then walk down the aisle. The reason I don’t like this is because I’ve always imagined entering through a set of doors before walking down the aisle, and with this place, I won’t have that. Does anyone have any suggestions as to how I can make a grander entrance?
Here is a link to the location:
The pictures aren’t very good, but it could serve as some sort of reference.
Any ideas would be greatly appreciated!!
