ANother bee asked me to make this thread.
Here was my inspiration:
What I made:
Buy your materials at a bead store – DON’T go to a major store like michaels or the hobby lobby or whatever american stores you have… You’ll pay way more and there will be a lot less variety. Go to a beading store and they’ll have everything and they will be able to help you with any steps that you’re having trouble with. The lady at my bead store taught me how to attach all the pearls… I would’ve had no idea without her!
Materials You Need:
Angled Plyers (The don’t have to be angled, I just find them worth the extra $15 bc they make it way easier)
Rounded plyers – you definitely need these
Soft Touch Beading Wire – it’s what I strung the big pearls on around my neck. It’s way stronger than fishing line and won’t stretch out.
Also, you can see the chain link in the bottom corner that I used. I chose a small chain, and bought about 20 inches for my project. I probably only actually used about 8-10 inches, but it’s good to have extra. The only place I used it was for the bulky pearl chunk at the base of my necklace. If you wanted to make a chunky all the way around pearl necklace, you would use this all the way around.
You’ll need these long silver things with a ball on the end… I have no idea what they’re called but you can get them at any beading store and thery’re cheap. I honestly used a ton… probably bought like 200.
And finally, whatever beads, pearls, stones, brooches you want
