My BMs wore a pastel blue while my MOH wore a darker shade of blue.  That’s how I made her stand out.

I’m having a brooch bouquet, so I think I’ll work about 3 or 4 brooches into my Maid and Matron of Honor’s bouquets to help them stand out. That, or a fancier hair piece or some special shoes can help differentiate her as well.

My MOH is wearing a feather headpiece/fascinator to distinguish her from the rest of the BMs.

Have her stand next to you during the ceremony.

My MOH is in a darker dress than the bridesmaids.  She is also like my complete BFF that everyone knows, so it’s pretty obvious it’s her.  haha

This is something I don’t understand. Why does the MOH have to be different or stand out??

Mine suggested she could have a different dress, but I wanted all 4 in the same dress and that is what I got them.

But she keeps making hints at things can be different for her as she is MOH.

I just don’t really understand.

I wasn’t planning on having the MOH stand out, or having the Best Man stand out. I guess if  you really want them to look different you can, but their place in line is what signifies what they are. But the day is about YOU, not her, so I don’t see the point in making her different.

I think I’m going to have my 4 BMs pick the grey dress of their choice, but will have my MOH carry slightly different color flowers as the others.  My colors are grey, orange, yellow and white.  Maybe MOH will have orange while BMs have yellow or something… nothing too dramatic.

@Mrs.RDV:  its just something lots of people do to make their MOH more special since technically they are more special than the rest of the BMs. the MOH has more responsibility and is supposed (or *could*) stand apart from the BMs.  i told my girls to pick their own dress and just get the same color, so i just went with the route of different sized bouquets which is pretty common.
