It depends on the parents.  In both of our cases, our parents may but the liklihood of the IL’s, nah 🙂

How long is your road trip?  The only thing that comes to mind since you share an account is to pack a picnic basket with whatever drink you want, look at the map of where you are going and then surprise him by pulling over at a park or something.

ETA:  I will not find it offensive if no one acknowledges our anniversary because it’s OUR anniversary, no one elses.  As long as it’s me and Darling Husband, I will be perfectly content.  My dad would call and remind me that my grandparents anni was coming up and I always found it weird to call them but that’s just me.  So while it’s nice, it’s not mandatory.

Hmmm…could you pack a picnic or something?  And then go to a park or something?  You could pack a bottle of wine too 🙂  It would be cute.

I would see if there is anything on the route that you can do first has to be something…

Or I would pack wine like the other person said, a cute meal tha doesn’t need to be warmed like cheese crakers summer sausage, veggies, fruit something you can but in the cooler.

And wear a dress wink wink. I don’t know how conservative you are but we have tons of fun on the go you don’t have to do anything unsafe while he’s driving but it can be a good lead up tease and sexy.

Also bring a little cake for you too to share. We have a portable DVD player that we go on the road with maybe you can review your wedding video on the go.
