I'm thinking lots of black candelabras, twinkle lights, white flowers, lots of candles. Maybe some 1940's microphone stands (those big metal ones)... if you want to go that far. You could use table sized ones around the cake or bar.
Uplighting would be very cool. If you could drape the walls, it could give it a club vibe... and the art on the wall honestly really doesn't match your theme.
You should go really glam. I always think the classic red, black and white color scheme when I think Hollywood Glam. Or just black and white, with maybe silver or gold? Ornate candleabras, feathers, dripping crystals, red roses, tons of candles, sumptuous linens (maybe, like... red velvet?). That kind of thing.

Thanks for the ideas. Was thinking of draping and uplights but your ideas are great. Here is a wedding board I have come up with so far. Any ideas you have to go with this are appreciated.

definitely black candelabras, lots of lights, lots of twinkles, and maybe some chandeliers if you could swing it!!!
having a live band would make a huge difference, if it's in your budget.
lots of "bling" would help too! less flowers and more lights, candles, and sparkles!

How can I make this room look like a cool, elegant 1940's Hollywood glam party? I've thought about having walls draped and uplighting to change vibe. Colors are going to be black, white and pink but not sure whether I should use gold or silver as accent and what other ideas would help carry this theme. Music I've got. We're going to have music from Andrews sisters, Bing Crosby, etc. Just a little stumped on what decor will help with this theme. Any ideas? .
