Do any of you bees have any exercises/workouts that work wonders on your inner thighs? Toning, triming, making them disappear altogether?!

Well the only way to get the fat over the muscle to go away is to increase caloric output (exercise) and decrease caloric intake (food)!

But a great way of toning them is doing the old school jane fonda exercises for inner thigh - oldies but goodies and doing plie squats. To do them you sit in a horse stance and squat while holding a weight in between your legs.

    Good Luck!

If you go to the gym you need to get on the machine where you sit with your legs in a straddle position and you squeeze your legs together, then release.

At home, if you go into a wide plie (plee-ay) and do a deep squat, then squeeze on the way up.

Thanks for the advice. I'm not really looking to lose weight (size 4) but more to tone up.

Agree with StephinPA - the adductor and abductor machines at the gym.

Also, Pilates has some exercises that focus on the inner thighs.

Lay on your back and make a "bridge" by shifting the weight to you shoulders, putting your legs at a 90` angle, and lifting up your butt. you should kinda look like this:

    |\ except obviously the \ would be much longer, haha. Then, scoot your feet together so they touch.

Do pelvic thrusts! Your upper inner thighs will burn to high heaven. Even if you can't thrust (it's not easy to lift your butt up that much!), holding the bridge can be a solid work out too. I haven't done this in awhile and I'm sure I'd die if i did it today.

Ride a horse. I know not everyone can or wants to do this, but my inner thighs are insanely toned and strong from this. R loves it all sorts of ways, haha!

Squats! If you make sure your butt is below parallel (to your knees), then you should feel the burn everywhere...not just your glutes and quads. I did a silly number of squats yesterday and my inner thighs are definitely feeling it.

If you belong to a gym that has LEs Mills do a Body Pump Class once a week, there is no way you would ever make yourself do that many squats.

I agree with simpleandchic. Going to Body Pump is the only way I can get myself to do enough squats and lunges to see results. It's a great class!

Squats, running & spinning will do wonders for your lower half.

Spinning overhauled my butt & thighs the most though. :)

I find walking up various inclines help to. I like getting fresh air and change the scenery.

Seriously, I have tried a lot if not most of this stuff and I'm pretty fit but my stupid flipping thighs refuse to abandon each other, I've slimmed them way down, but I think that little part right below the prize is impossible to remove unless you get lipo

I don't know if anyone mentioned running, but this is the best exercise for every part of your body and especially your thighs....you have to make sure that you run until they burn though :)

I agree with running, I run throughout every summer and fall, weather permitting and I notice the biggest changes all over my body.....especially my thighs and tummy.

Stand up with your feet shoulder width apart. Extend one leg in front of you, and point your toes. Lift that leg towards the other leg (but still in front) as far as you can go, then slowly put it back to starting possition. Do like 10 times, then switch legs.
