I am asking this for a friend of mind whose wedding is in a few months and the wedding just happens to coincide with the heaviest day of her period. Ideally, she is looking to move her period up 4-5 days in about two cycles. She is not on BC nor plans to start. Do any bees have any experience with successful ways to move your period up a few days?
Thanks in advance!

CapitolBee: I am not aware of anything that isnt hormonal. Maybe if she gets really stress out she can delay it ?
Is starting BC an option for her? Maybe just for a bit?

it was not the end of the world.
i stopped BCP 4 months before wedding since we were going to ttc right away. i was expecting AF the monday after the wedding. instead it came on friday. and the second day, my wedding day is always my heaviest flow.
i didn’t stress, nothing could be done. it worked out fine. my girls were the best. they held my dress in the bathroom when i had to go.
i even wore my white shower dress to the brunch the day after (might at well some use out of it) and everything was fine.

I want to delay mine a few days. I’m planning on being sufficiently stressed, and doing lots of workouts! That worked for me in the past (not on purpose, of course — I was hoping for on time periods then!) Also, traveling to different places, especially with other women with later predicted start dates.

When I had surgery last year, I was instructed to take a very high dose of Vitamin C for about two weeks prior to the operation. I remember my period was about 3 days early that cycle. I only remember because I am usually the atomic clock of periods. No idea if the two are related but some internet sites (sketch, I know) seem to make the connection.
