They can have different accessories, such as a hair piece or even a sash on their dress..  I personally dont know if anyone will notice the slightly bigger bouquets, but they could have different flowers in their bouquet or different colors

I’m doing this with mine. I am putting the bridesmaids hair down and mine is gonna be up and my maid of honor is going to be half up half down, and her flowers are bigger then the other girls. I’m thinking of a different hair acessory, or if you get the girls a necklance or something for a gift make her’s different.

Could you get shawls in different colors? i.e. Dark blue for MOHs and light blue for BMs?

Can you add a colored sash to the MOH’s dresses?

You could have their bouquets be distinctive, rather than bigger, which might not be very noticeable.  I love the look of ribbons hanging from the bouquet, as seen here:

Hmmm could you buy them a flower or piece for their hair?!

or maybe you could just give them a special gift before or something! =) I am sure they are already just stoked to be apart of the wedding!

Best of Luck!

Would be nice if she could have a jeweled sash around the waiste (hard to tell from picture if it would go though) but I’ve seen it done and it looked lovely. Another thing I would do is a hairpiece or a bracelet.

I’m the maid of honor in a wedding coming up in July.  As far as I know I’m wearing the same dress as the bridesmaids, same color, same everything, and I’m not the slightest bit hurt by it!  I think even if you do nothing it will be absolutely fine!  Just the fact that they’re your MOHs should make them feel special. 🙂

I was a MOH in a wedding in which we all wore different dresses. Nothing about my dress/hair/accessories stood out and i honestly didnt care. Its all about the bride! and I felt special enough that she had even asked me to be a part of her day 🙂
