Oh! I thought of something else...I used to "trick" the printer into printing by selecting a paper size it actually had in its set menu that was slightly bigger or smaller than what I was using. Then I fed it in manually.
My only problem was that this often made the printer go nutty and it would print out a sheet perfectly nicely...and then it would insist that my paper size (in the printer) didn't match the document size (layout) -- which it didn't -- and would restart the print job. One time, I kept pushing the manual "go" button over and over 'cause I thought that it was printing my 30 sheets one at a time manually...no, it was printing my first sheet over and over and over every time I pushed. I ended up with about 50 sheets before I realized, dang, this seems like more paper than 30...
If you don't have to do too many, maybe this would work? I do recommend cutting up some scratch paper so you don't waste your nice expensive stuff. Also, you might try adjusting the settings in your printer preferences dialogue -- sometimes you can choose options for glossy or slick paper that help the paper feed better.

Um - so I guess I should have purchased regular 8 1/2 x 11 paper - my printer won't allow me to custom print something 5x7. I thought this was a standard size? Hmm.
