My dad is not walking me down the aisle (which I don’t regret). My mom is and my dad and stepdad are walking side by side dressed the same. I liked it this way because my stepdad has been AMAZING to me, but I also want to do something to differentiate them. I was thinking chair signs. But what do I write on my stepdads? “Stepdad” That’s awful-sounding. Advice please.

“Bubu”. lol. But I don’t call my stepmother anything except her name “Gladys” and so that would still create some awkwardness. Like, wouldn’t people go “Who is Gladys? Why does she get a name tag?”

I would just put them in the program, since no one is likely to see the signs if they are on the ceremony chairs.
(I have to admit when I saw the title of your post, I thought “doesn’t she know what he looks like?” lol…)

I agree with greenleafmountain, I would recognize them in the program. That way everyone will see it not just the the few in the front rows.
