Hi everyone! I need your help. I don’t know how to say Thank you to vendors, how to say them that we appreciate their job ! We are thinking to send a bottle of wine with “thank you” note. Maybe we have to do it personally , not via mail. Any suggestions ?

Can you put someone in charge of giving them the gift at the end of the night for vendors that are still there (DJ, Catering Manager, etc)? You could also give it personally before the wedding when you go to do final details or send the balance.

For our vendors who don’t get a tip, we’re creating small gift baskets for them. We live in Chicago, and are getting married in NY, so we’re creating Chicago-themed baskets of goodies with a heartfelt thank you note. Our coordinator will be passing them out all day when she finds it appropriate.

I like the bottle of wine along with the thank you note, Cash always works as well 😀 in a card or something like that.

I think one convention just says to hand out tips toward the end of the event.

Something that might have a longer impact than cash or gifts, reviewing a vendor gets them very far too! If a vendor has a link or online site for you to review them, take a couple minutes to write about your experience, it really helps them get more exposure to future clients
