I fell in love with the below invites when I saw them featured on snippetandink’s blog. I have been searching for invites for months and when I saw these I knew that I just had to do something similiar. My question is… how?! I am planning on buying similiar (pocketfolds, envelopes, paper) from Paper Source. It looks like the silver font that this bride used is sort of a metallic. Though, on snippetandink’s blog the blurb mentioned that she printed them on her home computer and there was no mention of a Gocco. Is it possible?!
The consistent dots under the "Reception" looks almost like a stamp?! And has anyone tried printing a map on their home computer like this? My worry is that the blue water (which I would have a ton on my own map) would look really "pixelated" if I printed it out on laserjet. I have a Photo printer and regular and don’t think it would work on either.
Any tips?! Am I in over my head with trying to "metalicize" the ink and print a map similiar like this at home?! Has anyone printed on Paper-Source… is really smooth?

Silver ink maybe?
Did she print them herself, or did she get through through a printer? If she has a fantastic home printer, she might have been able to use silver ink.
OR- she printed it with grey and use silver ink/paint paints and traced over it.
How much time are you willing to spend?

It just looks like regular gray ink to me, which you could do with any home printer.

That may have been gocco’ed, but it looks like an awful lot of work! The map looks custom made.
I would consider having a professional graphic designer create comething similar and then printing/gocco’ing yourself. But it is definitely going to be a big DIY project

The silver ink looks gocco’ed to me. If you don’t have a Gocco-maybe look on etsy and post on "alchemy" that these are what you’re looking for and see if anyone is willing to take on the challenge. You could probably print out the map yourself. GL!

those don’t look goccoe’d to me at all. I just sold ,my gocco.
They look professinally printed. You cant get metaalic ink from a home printer. Gray is even hard sometimes for lighter shades cause you can’t print white.
Home printerse though can do a very good printing job, just change the quality to best when you do it, not normal.
This wll be a big project. I agree with the idea of goig on alchemy on etsy and asking for it..
