honestly i would do the matching shoes. You obviously gave them a lot of leway in selecting their dresses so I don't think it's too much for you to ask for them to get matching shoes. good luck!
What about matching bouquets? I have seen lots of beautiful wedidng photos with bridemaids in non-matching attire, and the bouquets really tied it all together. Dopn't stress! It will be pretty. The color scheme sounds very nice.
i like bouquets for photos but they won't be holding them all night. what about a corsage or flower pin on their dresses?
How about something for in their hair - a flower or pin?? Or, even though the dresses are different, couldn't they all wear the same bracelet??
I agree with Christine, something for their hair. a nice pin or flower that ties into your color scheme or a color that is a contrast to the brown. It would be noticable but still small and flow nicely with what your girls are wearing.
I don't know, I think the fact that they're brown with gold shoes does tie them together. But I like the flowers idea.
How you buy material of an accent color & they can all tie around or wear as a sash?

So one thing I've done - and a trend I'm really digging is the 'same colorish/different dress' thing that's sweeping the bridal world.
You see, I've been in 17 weddings.
Yes.
I'm THAT girl. The person that everyone says inspired THAT movie. You know the one. Don't act like you guys aren't watching every cheesy wedding movie just like I find myself doing at odd times...
But, you would think that much wedding experience would make it easier, wouldn't you?
And it did, for a while. But when I hit the bride brain point where all the details started coming in, no experience in the world could help.
I can't remember what I walk in or out of a room for, and so this site helps greatly with advice marks.
So. My girls - I have 5 in the wedding, not including my daughter, and they're all wearing different brown dresses - think chocolate brown - and wearing gold shoes. fairly simple.
I wanted one small thing to tie them all together - and I can't think of it.
I thought shoes - but they all have different demands.
I thought jewelry but some dresses are too different from the others.
I thought a hair bit but they all have different style ideas for their hair...
Any suggestions on a tie-in?
Or am I crazy for thinking one would even be needed?
