I don't think I've seen a tiara worn with a mantilla, although that doesn't mean you can't pull it off!
The ways I've seen it are:

I too am wondering how to wear the Mantilla veil. I purchased one from a fellow Bee, and I don't know how to tack it on to my crown (pins?). I don't want to sew in and use a comb.
I tried on a Mantilla Veil with a tiara and it looked pretty well.
I didnt go for that exact veil but I can sord of show you how it
looks with a tiara.

This is the pic when i tried it on but i didnt have the tiara on, but you can get an idea of were its placed. Not too far back and not too far in front.
I should have been more specific -- I meant crown of my head! lol. I don't want to use a tiara -- just on top of my head. :-)
Did that veil have a comb in it? Or did you pin it on?

A mantilla veil usually has a small comb sewn on the underside of the lace. It can't be seen at all when wearing.

Yes, that's how I will wear mine as well. I think the main idea of this stream of posts was how people wear it (using a comb, hair pins, etc).

I am going to wear Casablanca 1909 and I also ordered a thin tulle veil with lace edging that's waltz (ballet) length. I am having extra length added so that it will be a full 9 feet, and I want to continue the formal look by wearing my hair up. Do I wear a tiara with the veil? Where do I put the veil on my head?
