My hair is thin and cut into a bob. I’m most likely going to be wearing it down. So how in the heck do I attach a veil if I decide to go that route? I may do a birdcage, which could be easily attached on a barrette. A veil on a barrette seems more difficult. I don’t like the look of headbands, either.

@solidarity: I adore the look of short hair with bird cages! My vote would be to do a birdcage
Here is a bob with a bird cage
Or you could curl your hair and possibly do a look like this

Like pp said, I’d rock a birdcage!

Yay! I can comment on a hair post! Mine is in a bob as well. I loved how mine turned out! It stayed all night!!

Ok, not related, but my work monitor has a weird tendency to shimmer which makes for weird optical illusions – I saw “how to wear a veil with a boob”.
I like the birdcage look.
@NavyBride16: you look lovely! That’s a really nice way to do the bob/veil look.

The veils I tried on (bubble and birdcage) were all attached to th hair with combs. Most hairdressers will add a couple hidden bobby pins to ensure it doesn’t move. These were on my inspiration boards as I have a bob and really wanted my hair down:
Most veils are designed to flip over the comb so that isn’t seen….just the pretty tulle on your head. Good luck with your choice.
