We are splitting the cost with my parents and the only things I found would be YOUR NAME AND HIS NAME together with her parents invite you.. etc. etc.. I didnt like that wording so I put my parents names on it as if they were paying the whole thing, because I thought it was respectful to give them credit even if they are only paying for part because in reality they dont have to pay for any of it.
Side note, not sure if this matters at all because the money is not being used on the actual wedding day - my fiancee's dad is contributing some money which will pay for the rehearsal dinner and honeymoon.
Mr. and Mrs. Fred Flinstone together with the couple invite you to....
together with Mr and Mrs. Fred Flinstone, We invite you to our wedding...
You could just put:
together with their parents Blah bLah and Blah Blah wish to invite you to the celebration of their wedding, marriage etc...
or you could talk to your parents about it.. i had some trouble with this too, i didnt want it to sound like it was all me and my family, so we are using the one above.
hope it helps
We went with.... 'Together with their families, Matt and Sarah invite you to join them as they become MR and Mrs...'
No Last names because we didnt want it to be too formal, But you can always add that if you want.

How should the invitation be worded if we, as a couple, are splitting the cost of the entire wedding 50/50 with my parents? Not coming up with much when I try to search this particular situation. Thanks!!!
