I’d go go with gift bag/tissue paper. Target might have big enough ones.

@Quackadoo:  The easiest way, I think, would be to purchase a big gift bag and some tissue paper! Heavier things could be on the bottom with the onesies and cloths on top. However I don’t think the diaper pail would fit! If its in a box you could just wrap that seperate. Hope this helps!

I’ve been to a quite a few baby showers and have had three of my own!

Use the diaper pail as the container. Tie the lid around the middle of the pail with a ribbon and center a large bow over the lid.

Fill the bottom of the diaper pail with crumpled tissue then place the other gifts, individually wrapped, inside the pail.

Use a layer of wrapping paper around the top edge of the pail like this

Roll up the burp cloths to look like flowers and place them on the top of the other gifts. If you need to fill in some spaces, buy some washcloths in a coordinating color or print.

@Quackadoo:  I think thats a good idea! That sounds like a lot of stuff you got for your cousin, so I think she’ll appreciate it no matter how *odd it may look 🙂

@Quackadoo:  That will be totally fine. My recommendations are to get an empty cardboard box or crumple up some paper and put it in the bottom of the diaper pail to take up space so that you can see the items on top.  When you get a gift basket it is usually packed that way. You might even use multiple boxes/crumpled paper to set the stage for the items you put on top. And the other thing (if you have the time/desire) is cellophane. I think the shrinky cellophane ends up looking weird, but just regular cellophane wrapped and taped together will keep the items from flapping around. And you can put a bow on on the inside or outside.
