Ok! I’ll start 🙂
I would describe my wedding style as whimsical and earthy…taking place in the transition from fall to winter. I want it to have the feel of a big family feast…as opposed to the 200+ guests, blingy decor, 12 foot centerpiece sort of wedddings (which are fine, but not my thing).
Here is my ceremony space. I don’t have good pics of the outside part and the view (ceremony will be outdoors, overlooking Smoky Mountains):
Here are some decor ideas I love and plan to morph into something new to incorporate in our ceremony:
and this, although I’m not sure if I will use, is super awesome:

I went with minimal decor for our ceremony just because the natural backdrop was already beautiful (and because I was so over the wedding planning by the time I got around to thinking about ceremony decor).

@MrsZippyMouse: Cute and I bet that was a breeze to set up!

Bump…I want to see more 🙂

I only have guest photos at the moment but I really wanted chandeliers/bling and soft colors:

@Treejewel19: oooh those reflected light pretty well! I hate bling that looks like rough plastic and no sparkle/reflection 🙂
Oh and I was doing more homework and came across these beauties for a more romantic wedding:

We had an outside ceremony as well. However, since our winter was warmer than expected we weren’t too sure what we would get snow, blizzard or rain. I didn’t want to spend money on flowers to have them die due to the cold…so I used curly willow, a few roses, candles, and wood discs leading up to 2 urns at the altar.
I really wanted an altar with willow across the top as well as upright but if the weather was really bad we were gonna move to the inside room and the altar would be too difficult to move. I loved our urns and I really felt like we were in a forest with trees all around us. It really made it feel cozy at the front for us during the ceremony.
Here are a few pics:

We went heavy on the greenery in our ceremony space.

Love these ideas! I’m really struggling with what to do for mine, so this is helpful 🙂

Our wedding is going to be outdoors, on a deck here at one of the state parks. It’s really a beautiful setting on it’s own, so I will probably just do something simple. I was thinking of hanging some kind of tissue paper poms, ribbons, etc from the arch we bought.

This is what I did with mine.

@Barika: ooh love the branches on the ground like that
@ktlilly26: that’s really neat, is that burlap and organza ribbon around the arch?

Here was my ceremony space. I didn’t want a ton of decor because I loved the space how it was and didn’t feel a need to spend a ton on the ceremony. We did heavy flower petals down the aisle and two big sprays up front.
Here is the entire space

@LuluInLove: It’s burlap and tulle.
