I think I’m buying this gown for my wedding but can’t decide how to accessorize it. Necklace? No necklace? Pearls or diamonds? Yellow gold? Big vintage cluster earrings? Juliet cap veil in matching blush tulle? Flower crown? Help me, bees!

@strickj1: The pic isn’t the highest resolution, but it looks like a stunning dress. I think I’d keep things simple as it looks like there’s quite a bit of embellishment on the dress and I wouldn’t want to compete with it. I would go with a pearl bracelet and eartings, no necklace. The veil is a tough one, I’d probably just have an awesome hair accessory and forgo the veil altogether. Or maybe do a long veil attached underneath the updo, so that it’s mostly behind you.

I love that dress. I would just do some simple earrings. Studs or simple drops, nothing too flashy. No necklace. And I think either the veil or the flower crown would work.

@strickj1: Gorgeous dress, who is the designer and what the style number?
I rthink it will look good with vintage inspired accesories. Me singing pearls 🙂

No necklace, earring like the pic below, no veil with dazzling head piece of cathedral veil that starts at the nape of your neck or below a bun so that it doesnt cover the lace on your shoulders, and a bracelet that matches the earrings!

Love the ideas! @ponkihoneybee, the dress is by Reem Acra, but it doesn’t have a name (which I think is a travesty…shouldn’t all dresses have names?!)

@strickj1: With a dress that stunning, I’d suggest a headband and a smile. 🙂

Silk sash with bow, or a belt.
Pearl choker, long knotted pearl necklace, or bare.
Pearl tiara (a flower crown could risk looking a bit bridesmaidy I think, if you wear it coupled with a pink dress), you need something regal in the hair.
Pearl earrings if you are wearing your hair up (the difference between going for studs or drop earrings depends on whether you are also wearing a necklace and a tiara in which case tone it down with studs or a cluster, rather than drop. Drop earrings would be good if you’re not wearing a necklace)
In general, I think pearls would look best with your dress.
