Why are you adding blue?  If it is just for the "something blue" tradition, how about some saphire earrings?

I think with that particular gown I might just do blue Jewerly. I am actually trying to incorporate Blue some how into my accessories because its one of my wedding colors. I am dying to have blue shoes though!!

I might do blue sapphire earrings or a bracelet, definitely not a sash with this particular gown, but I do like colored sashes. Shoes or a fascinator would definitely be cute!

I think I would go with blue shoes. Maybe a light blue crystal bracelet of some sort.

I’m a big fan of brightly colored shoes hidden underneath the dress!

I would do blue shoes. That gown is so beautiful I’d be hesitant to add anything to it to take away from the look of it.

Another advocate for blue shoes and I would incorporate blue in the jewlery as well! A Sash just would not work this this particular dress.

@mrsleopard – May I ask where you found that photo of the dress?  It’s inspiring, and the top design is sort of the style for which I’m looking.

I actually plan on incorporating blue to whatever dress I choose, as part of my wedding theme.

If this were my dress, I wouldn’t be able to accessorize with blue jewellery, as I would be wearing my mother’s pearls.  They just won’t go.

Because of the design on the bust, a sash would also not go.

I would love to wear blue shoes.  But I would like to be able to show them off.  If the dress were shorter, I’d just go with shoes.

I think I would have to wear a blue hair-piece of some sort in addition to the shoes.

Oh!  How about add some simple blue beading to the hemline (or other parts) of the gown?

I would add my monogram to the inside of the gown in blue embroidery.

@ Hypopuggy – It’s the Pronovias Danubio.  They have some gorgeous dresses!

And I think I would go with a blue necklace as well although I don’t have a specific one in mind.

This.

The dress is beautiful without adding anything!
