I love an underbustle. I think that would work great on your dress since that would still show off that detail on the back.
I'd probably go with a classic overbustle/American bustle on your dress. That way you won't loose the detail on the train.

You could do an over/american bustle, but then you have a visible button on the dress when its unbustled, which I personally don't like. It would work with your dress though.
What about an Austrian bustle?

ah, i wish i'd seen this thread 10 minutes ago before i posted mine, although you don't seem to have gotten very many responses. :( i think an overbustle would be best for your gown, with more than one point so the detailing on your train will show.
Underbustle.. if you do over make sure you get more than 1 point, they tend to break easier
