I’m having my first fitting next week! And we’re T-2 months to the wedding… eeek!
I have a question for y’all: I’m clueless when it comes to bustles… so I need your opinions — what kind of bustle should I do for my dress?
My dress is the Mikaella 1759. The material on the skirt is organdy (a stiff-ish sheer material) and the bodice is guipire lace.
Back (model, unfortunately I don’t have pictures of myself from the back):

I like the look of either a one point or three point over bustle for a dress made of light fabric. It avoids that ‘folded over’ look some bustles can have. Sorry I can’t share pics, I’m on my phone!

It’s such a short train and looks so lovely let down, I honestly would think twice about bustling at all.

I think a single point bustle would be lovely.

I would also do a single point over bustle.

On my dress I’m having the opaque inner layers done in a ballroom bustle, so they’re basically folded up underneath on the inside of my dress to make the whole dress one length. The outer, tulle layers (point de esprit) are going to be pulled/bustled up to my waist to create nice draping.
