I don’t have the bod to pull off these dresses, but a girl can dream. How would you describe this style of dress though??
maybe not so much this one but it’s the closest I could find to the others.
Did any of you ladies wear a dress like this on your wedding day? I would love to see some IRL pictures!

It’s a natural waist ball gown. I’m too short and square to wear one but they’re beautiful.

@Peaceoutboyscout: the first one I would call empire waist, because it is slightly higher cut than a natural waist ball gown. I love that style

My stunning cousin wore this on her wedding and she looked fabulous!! I don’t want to post her pic cause I don’t have permission, but I can just say she looked amazing. I think IMO you need to have a slim silhouette to pull it off, otherwise i Can see it possibly lookin sloppy? I don’t know maybe I’m wrong, just what I think

LOVE this style of dress. I have a bunch of pictures of this exact style saved on my computer for myself 🙂 I am super slim up top, and I think that this style is really flattering for that.
I would call it “not trying hard at all, but gosh I am sexy/beautiful/stunning anyway” style

@FortiesFlare: That’s what I think too. You need slim arms and a sexy back IMO. Things in which I do not have. lol
@freshflowers: “I would call it “not trying hard at all, but gosh I am sexy/beautiful/stunning anyway” style”
EXACTLY!!!!!!!!! lol I’m style challenged. I could only dream to look half that good lol

The first one is empire waist, the second two are natural waist. I’d call them all ballgowns.
As for the neckline, I would say sweetheart or V neck spaghetti straps!

@blushbliss: My first thought was empire waist. I suppose it depends on the particular dress. Thank you!!
