From that, he sounds like a dick, I’m sorry to say. 🙁

Why would he dump bread crumbs on the counter like that? That is the part that upsets me more. That just seems mean.

If he doesnt understand why those are reasons to be angry (even if he doesnt 100% agree) then there are bigger issues.

I would definitely punch him in the face.  Maybe I’m just having a bad day, but I’m mad for you just reading that.  My bf has done that to me before.  I am very sensative to the sound of metal. One day he was clinging his spoon on the plate very hard and I asked him to stop and he got the spoon and scrapped it on the plate three times as hard as he could, knowing I even get toothaches from the sound alone.  He thought it was funny, I wanted to kill him.  So, I understand you.

Maybe he didn’t remember her name??  Otherwise, I am siding with PPs, DH is being douchie.  Tell him to get a pint of chocolate and a hot bath for that pms he’s got!  😉

I would have given him a good piece of my mind. He does not sound like a very nice guy. Sorry!

Wow. Yeah, I’d be pissed.

In the first situation, I’d be annoyed but figure he just got caught up in catching up with his friend and probably end up introducing myself… the second situation is just a big WTF. It just seems really mean and spiteful. Is this normal behavior for him? Maybe something is bothering him or he was trying to get back at the roommate for something?

He would be sleeping on the couch…the one with the dog hair all over it.

The non-introduction might not have bothered me too much because there could have been other factors involved – maybe he isn’t super friendly with her and didn’t want to encourage more conversation, maybe he couldn’t remember her name, etc.

The bread crumb thing is a calculated dick move, though. I’d definitely be pissed. It sounds like he was purposely disrespecting you for some reason.

It’s hard to judge not knowing the background of the relationship and how he typically behaves.

he’d definitely be on the couch for the night. and it better be followed by a big apology in the morning

@dayl20:  Oh, honey. These are not good signs. I am so sorry to say this, but your DH sounds as if he is a self-centered, arrogant, angry, and disrespectful man. HUGS to you. 🙁
