i think it could be pronounced both ways. I love the way Adreeah sounds though.

I would be tempted to pronounce it “Aaaaa’-dree-ah” (with a long A and the accent on the first syllable), because I’ve known several Adriennes.  However, I may end up pronouncing it “Ahhhh’-dree-ah,” (with the accent still on the first syllable but a soft “a” as in Audrey), because I know a couple of Audriannas.

I read it as ahh dreea but immediately self corrected to ay dreea so I don’t think you’d have too many problems. I think she’d be more likely to have people not hear her correctly and assume she was ‘Adrian’, but that kind of thing happens with every name.

this coming from someone who regularly gets “Alec”, “Hallie”, “Callie” and “Sally” scribbled on her coffee cup! (it’s Ali)

I would spell it Aidria for the pronunciation you’re looking for. Otherwise I’d say Ad-ria.

I would pronounce it Ad-ree-a, but that’s is because there was a character on the TV show Starge: SG1 with that name, and it was pronounced Ad-ree-a.

    I would pronounce that A-dree-ah

    So I VOTED for Option # 1

And I think it is a very pretty name, BTW

    Hope this helps,
