Going to an Army ball in a couple of months and just bought my dress! My hair doesn’t hold curl unless a professional does it, so I’ll most likely be going to a salon. With the spaghetti strap on one side and sheer fabric on the other shoulder, I’m not sure what style would look best without competing with the dress. Any suggestions or pictures are welcome!

Some kind of a one sided chingnon would look great!

I wore a very similar dress to a medball a few years ago (with one side sheer thick chiffon, one side spaghetti) and i had my hair in a low, loose, curly side chignon on the side of the spaghetti strap. I thought it worked well and complimented the neckline!

For reference here are some pix of what i did

I would also do something to the side (spaghetti stap side)- a bun/braid pinned into a updo… Something similar to this maybe with a little poof to it?

futurearmybee: I think a side do that’s down (opposite the thicker strap) would be lovely

That’s a very pretty dress, you look fantastic in it. I would have an updo with it.

Pretty dress! I agree with PP on the side do to compliment your dress, or a regular up do.

vitaminshake: Sorry for the late reply but thank you! I got lucky and found it at Macy’s in the prom section.

That is a fabulous dress! I agree with the PPs about an updo–I like the one sided as well.
