    MrsRuby:  I wouldnt really look at it as either. I would look at it as the shirt you chose to wear that day. My point being, it is just a shirt. If you mean it to be patriotic then that is  what it is. I am not sure if you are asking this because of all the upraor over the sports player who wore the American flag jacket to the White House the other month, or just because you are wondering. But my whole take on all of that was he probably meant it to be patriotic and the mdia and so many other people just blow things like this way out of proportion. Wear what you want.

    It’s fine. I work in DC and honestly you would only get funny looks if you were wearing a confederate flag. We don’t play that down there. Too political. But your shirt is actually fine and super cute! Have fun in our Nation’s Capital! 🙂

    Why would that be offensive? Unless you hate the US of A, I don’t see anything offensive about it.

    Technically you aren’t supposed to wear a US flag, but I don’t know anyone who actually thinks that wearing clothing with the US flag on it is offensive. So I think you’re fine.
