That’s great that you are losing weight and the diet is working. I’m assuming you are on holiday in Germany therefore I think you should allow yourself some slack, I eat whatever I want when I’m away lol. Or does your FH live in Germany?

I wouldn’t say I’m on a diet as such but I’m just trying to eat a little healthier after a 5 month sabbatical from the gym and healthy eating. Fortunately I didn’t put on much weight but I just feel a bit flabby and want to tone up, so I’m eating better and starting to work out again…excited to see the results!

That pink bird just about sums up my attitude.

Today I got on the scale and was very sad to see that Im nearly 200 lbs. I have no one but myself to blame. I am trying to gear up to start at least some sort of exercise and to get my husband to clue in to portion size reality, but we are each other’s worst enemies. This weekend I came down with a cold and cough and he came home from the pharmacy with medicine… and Haribo, After Eights, and Toffifee chocolates. Then he made chocolate muffins. He’s so sweet, but he just doesn’t get it.

Still, here’s to starting now.

Winters here can be very cold and long. And dark early.  But there’s no reason we can’t go on walks. We just.. .don’t.  In a few weeks my bellydancing class will start up again, but that’s only once a week. There’s also a pilates class offered by a lady at my work, but it’s always seemed really expensive. What I really want is to be motivated enough to come home and do my own, free workout via some youtube video. I seem to completely forget about losing weight and exercising once I’m done whining about it. lol

Sporty-Bee:  Ahh ok well in that case yes you can’t really eat anything you want while you’re there! I sometimes spend time in Germany as our head office is based there and the sweet food is very tempting over there! I must admit I’m not a huge fan of the food in Germany either…for me it’s the focus on meat. I do eat meat but not all the time and not often on its own (usually mixed into sauces etc) so it can be a bit overwhelming!

How much weight are you aiming to lose and is your target your wedding day? If so when is that?

Ya i did it for a solid week and then went on vacation and never picked it up again. But i stepped on the scale the other day and my eyes popped out of my head and was like omg i must do something. I agree with you when i am like no i dont want to i remind myself its only 25 minutes and talk myself into doing it or bribe myself saying ok i worked out i get one cookie lol!! I hope now i can stick to the whole program this time!! Got to start somewhere right!
