So I didn't see a post from the last day about Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, Part 2 yet! I know I can't be the only so looking forward to seeing it. I have my midnight tickets in hand, and am going to a 2D showing.

I am wavering between excitement and sadness. I cannot wait to see it, and noticed the buzz is very good so far. But then I get sad that this is pretty much the last new HP anything. (Except for the ever elusive Pottermore).

    Who else is super pumped??

Super pumped. I've got my outfit planned for the midnight showing. A shirt that says Muggle, a prefect pin, and a pair of socks - one sock will be Hufflepuff and the other Ravenclaw (they get so little love).

I definitely lean more for excitement. I think there is a lot Rowling could do with the Potter series. I would LOVE to read more about Sirius and James and Remus and Lily and Voldemort's rise to power. So I'm hoping for that (and the elusive Pottermore).

@In the media: I'm with you on the books about the marauders would be great, I'd rather have those first than a continuation of the epilogue. Although it would be hard to heard about them hanging out with Peter when you know how evil he gets.

And have you seen this yet? Those poor Hufflepuffs: Which hogwarts house are you?

@sparkle: I've heard that some theatres are doing that! That'd be a great way to watch them

@SimplyChic11: Didn't he get fiiiiine? Yum! Who would have that that little Neville would turn into such a stud??

Very excited! I wish I could stay awake for the midnight viewing, but that's not possible, so I am going early Friday.. Can't wait! I am bummed that it will be over though; and I wish there will be more someday, as In the media was suggesting.

@sparkle: We're doing the same thing. Part 1 at 9:30 and part 2 at 12:20. So excited. I know I'll be balling my eyes out. The HP series has literally changed my life. Not really the books themselves but the community surrounding it, it will definitely feel like the end of an era to me, but I guess with me just getting married it's good timing :( It better be freakin awesome, that's all I can say.

I can't wait!  We've got our midnight tickets, and are sooo excited.  We almost decided to wait until friday night, but decided we had to keep with tradition and see the midnight show.  I will say it's a lot harder to stay up for the show now than it used to be!!  We're not dressing up or anything, but I love to walk around and admire everyone's getups.

My life will officially be complete after this movie.  My sisters and I are going to a big movie release party and I'll be rocking my trusty "Weasley Is My King" t-shirt.

One of my sisters learned about an early screening event through the local newspaper and got to see the movie last night!  She's been sending me tantalizing little text messages, including one that says (half facetious but half dead serious), "If Alan Rickman doesn't win an Oscar for this, I will quit life."

    Gah!

I always wait a few days later. I hate being in a crowded cinema. I have panic attacks really. Like what if something happened and we all needed to get out? It would be hard with a crowded cinema. I'm crazy. lol

So I will probably wait until next weekend to see it and go to a super late show.

listening to some wizard rock to get myself more pumped. got my Harry and the Potters, The Whomping Willows, Ministry of Magic, The Remus Lupins, and of course Draco and the Malfoys going on my itunes right now.

@mrscheetos: Oh yes, I need me some serious Snape action. And Draco, he suddenly became a character in the 6th movie and I want them to complete the arch. I really hope it's not all explosions and stupidity. I want some actual scenes with actual characters. I'm excited for the Gringott's dragon and for Neville being Captain Awesome!

Has anyone else kept themself from re-reading book 7? I haven't read it since after the 6th movie came out, and I almost like it better that way. I don't know exactly what's going to come next, but of course, I know the bigger picture.

There are some changes that were made in the 6th movie that I'm very intriuged to see how they play out in this one!
