(Closed) HSG and SIS procedures

@stillme:  I’m sorry your HSG experience wasn’t a pleasant one. Potentially blocked tubes might explain some of your pain, I don’t know. My tubes were open and I only experienced some minor cramping the day off. Nothing the next day. I have no experience with SIS.

Please feel free to visit us over at the ttc 6months & up thread. There are a bunch of great ladies who will be going/are going/or have already done a big junk of the infertility testing.

@stillme:  I’ve had both and the SIS isn’t as painful.  The sensation of saline was different; it felt like douching to me.  Do take ibprufoen because you will have some cramping.

The saline one is definitely better. I was in a lot of pain after my HSG dye test. It’s normal. I definitely agree with @squeak35 – take painkillers first.
