- Wedding: March 2014
So I’m back, and I’m not married yet even though the date was planned in November 2011.
Things were put on hold for many reasons and the last couple of years have been up and down (just outsider family issues) but we’re reclaiming 2014 for ourselves and doing an elopment wedding in March (at least that’s the plan)
You can see my dress here: http://boards.weddingbee.com/topic/what-type-of-veil-maggie-sottero-tabrett-lynette#axzz2qInbktdt
The original plan was a destination wedding, pink flowers/bouquet but now since it’s in March it’s going to be local and we’ve got snow so think cabin, snowy, woodsy theme (I say theme but I don’t mean an actual theme)
For the destination wedding I had a pink fake bouquet made up (which I still have) but because we’re local close to home I’m thinking of getting a real bouquet made up by a florist but I don’t know where to start.
A few of my concerns are that the dress is ivory and the snow (if there will be any) is white so maybe it’ll make my dress look dirty. There are some dusty rose details in the sash/bow on the waist and also some of the beading is almost goldish.
What kind of bouquet should I go with? Should it pop, should blend in since the dress is kinda “old” fashion/romantic looking.
At this point you can even suggest groomswear colours as we didn’t cover that yet (black is too harsh I’m thinking)
I don’t know, I’m very confused!
Any help from you guys would be great, I had my “wedding” thinking cap on back in 2011 but it’s been so long that I just haven’t put myself back in the game.
