@PrncssDva:  FWIW, my daughter hung out really, REALLY low the whole time, so I wouldn’t put any stock in that for gender.  But you’re going to find out SO SOON, less than a week!

The first time DH felt Lexi kick, we were watching “Fast and the Furious”.  She always responded to action movies, so if I was having a bad day, we’d put them on loud and she would go to town.  So during a car chase, DH had his hand on me, and she kicked him over and over.

Once you get a little more pregnant, you can poke them, and they’ll kick you back.  So cool!

@PrncssDva:  I bet he was so excited! My husband glowed the first time he felt LO kick. My daughter still likes to hang out low sometimes and I’m almost 30 weeks. I think they find a position and get comfortable.

my DH was the same way, his face just lit up ! which is nice because you feel the little butterfly like movement, then the little kicks, harder kicks, then you feel the whole baby moving and turning. as for being low, i am having a boy and he was super low for the longest time, never thought he was going to move up. everytime i went into the doctor she was basically down my pants to hear the heartbeat. he has moved up now and likes to lay on my righ side and stick his butt out. (hurts) i am 31 weeks.

DH heard the baby before he felt it.  He was laying with his head on my belly, and baby kicked and DH immediately jumped up and said “What was that sound???”.  According to him, it sounded like a stereotypical “Boing!” sound.  He immediately put his hand on my belly, and was able to feel baby kick a minute later.

@PrncssDva:  Mine is hanging out really low too, and we found out a couple weeks ago that she’s a girl! I had the same inkling you did because the baby seemed so low.

I am 21 weeks and my DH still cannot feel the baby. I had some really strong kicks yesterday, so I hope that he will be able to feel the baby kick soon.

My boy is all over the place.  I often feel the kicks down low but then I feel them up near belly button too.  Maybe some are kicks and some are punches 🙂 DH lit up for a second as well when he first felt it.  I think it still seems pretty surreal to him.  It does to me too, to be honest.  I like feeling him kick but I still have a hard time making sense in my brain that it is a real baby in there, kicking around.   So I am sure it is extra hard for him to wrap his head around.
