My Fiance and I are planning on inviting 17 people to be in our bridal party, 9 Bridesmaids and 8 groomsmen. This is mostly due to the fact that I have no sisters or close cousins and atttended three different highschools and maintained close girlfriends from all of them. I could not even begin to choose one girl from a group of three or which time in my life should take prescedence for the bridal party. Luckily, he has enough close guy friends to almost match my absurd number so decided it’s our day and we can do what we want! 🙂
My Maid/Matron of Honor, Kelly, was chosen as she is extremely organized, has strong atterntion to detail, and experience in MOHish duites. However, she is quite different from the rest of my bridesmaids and has a few quirks that I think would be evened out by having other “MOHs”. Would designating 3 MOHs be super crazy??
In addition to the above I have a much older friend who is part best friend/sister/mom to me. Is there a way I can recognize her? At 45 I know she would want to be a bridesmaid…Any suggestions?
Is 3 MOHs (out of 9 bridemaids) ridiculous? And how can I officaly recognize an older friend?
Any and all comments and sugestions would be appreciated!
