Chantilly0983:  can you show us a picture? Have you had the corset put in yet? It will likely suck you in some, so maybe you’ll like it better then?

I think she might have meant ‘autoimmune diseases’ but got autocorrected.

OP, how much did the dress cost as a sample? And whats the original purchase price on it? We might be able to guess how much you could make by selling it used online.

Oops, beat me to it 😛

ETA: Just saw the picture – I don’t think the dress is unflattering on you but are you 100% sure you don’t like the style? What sort of dress were you originally looking for?

Honestly, I think you looK AMAZING. And I’m not just saying that. When I saw your picture the first thing I thought was “I hope I look that good on my wedding day”.

I didnt even notice your “pooch” until you mentioned it, and the corset may help with that.

FWIW I think you look great and you look fit! I obviously haven’t seen you before but you still look great. And your body is working it in that mermaid dress. I think it’s quite lovely!

Chantilly0983:  ??? This is a fantastic silhouette for you, and I don’t see any pooch. Most girls would kill for your body. It seems like your self-esteem is the problem here, not the dress.

personally, I would kill for your body! I think you look gorgeous in it and honestly you look curvy (in a GREAT way) and not “big” like you said in your post. I hope you feel  beautiful in it though!

You could sell it online, although it might be difficult to get more than $700 or so for it… Most dresses online I see going for about $500 or less (but yours is new so…)

If there’s other styles you like you could go try them on in the store and then look online for them used. That would probably make you break even approximately…

I’d kill for your curves! I’m build like a rectangle. That dress is stunning on you! Absolutely stunning.
