We were adding me to his insurance yesterday and when the woman asked when our wedding was he told them September 25th….. uhmmm….. no?
Poor guy… I’m never gonna let him live that down.
He told her “we got married a month ago”.. but we’re really coming up on 2 months. I guess time flies when you’re having fun hahaha
Anyone have any tricks for drilling key information into your man’s brain?

pop quizzes 🙂
“Good morning sweetie! Quick! Name what I was wearing on our first date or you’re doing the dishes for a week!”

I feel for him! I can’t even remember my parents’ birthdays. I was really happy when our venue had 9-10-11 open since I’ll be able to remember it more easily! You should get him a money clip engraved with it. If he sees it daily he’ll be more likely to remember it! Call it a two-month anniversary present :).

my fiance keeps telling people we are getting married on february 20, 2011. our actual wedding date is february 19, 2011. we’ve been engaged for 7 months and he still says the wrong date. at this point, i just hope he remembers to show up on saturday, not sunday 🙂
ETA: i have no room to talk either. i tried to book our rehearsal dinner for february 19 and luckily the restaurant caught it.

Oh! Pop quiz! Every year on their anniversary, my mother would randomly ask my father questions about their engagement/wedding. The questions would range from “how did you propose to me? Who was in our wedding party? What favors did we give out?” and so on. It was great because it kept memories of the wedding day alive for both of them AND let my sister and I learn all kinds of neat facts about their wedding.
In other words, I second the pop quiz route!

LOL men! My husband still refers to himsel as my boyfriend sometimes. He corrects himself quickly but it’s like HELLO. We had not one but two ceremonies!

Haha, it’s ok, I think FI just knows that we’re getting married in June. Different bc we aren’t married yet, I know, but it still makes me laugh how clueless he is right now.

My own father forgot my middle name once. These things happen. I think pop quizzes will probably help, repetition aids memorization.
