My colors are blush and gold, and I am not wearing a necklace.  The top of my gown is sweetheart.  I am not wearing a tiara or anything else...possibly a flower in my hair during the reception.  What are your thoughts on these earrings? Too much? Or great statement?

What does your dress look like? I love those! But it really depends on your dress.

Wow--I cannot believe I mistyped so much in my post. LOL, I guess I was excited!

My dress is this Rosa Clara, but not brooch, and no shoulder straps like that, just a strapless sweetheart neck.

Oh your dress is REALLY pretty! Goodness, for me, it would be too much going on. But since the detail is at the bottom of your dress, it might not be for some people! I tend to wear very, very basic clothing, though, so I'm not a *great* judge. But it looks like it would work if you don't mind having alot going on!

Those earrings are gorgeous. I think the right person could definitely rock them, and for me, as long as you're not wearing a necklace, I think they match the dress. They both have an element of romance to them that I like.

@ JayBird--Thanks, I am going for a soft, romantic look. Hence all the pinks and golds and peaches. I wish I could TRY them befor eI BUY them.  Hmmm.  I may see if someone locally can work with me to recreate them, and possibly scale them down in size a bit.

They're pretty but I would be worried that they might take too much attention away from the dress.

I was planning on wearing simple earrings for the ceremony and pics and then changing into bigger earrings at the reception.  I'm also going to changed to colored shoes for the reception.  So, I'll have a shoe and earring wardrobe change. Maybe that's something you can consider.

I like the earring change idea... :)  sweet and simple studs for the ceremony and the big ones for the reception!

After three failed attempts over the course of 16 years, I have finally in the last two months achieved success with getting my earlobes pierced. :) I'm so excited that I'm really tempted to go nuts with my wedding earrings as well. I love the idea of some fancy dangly chandelier-type ones as well. It's a tough call with yours, since your dress does have a lot going on with all the fluffy layers, but the neckline is very clean and bare above the bust, so you might find that it works. It might be best to try on the earrings with the dress once that's possible and get a few people's opinions.

I think they might be a little overwhelming with your dress (which is GORGEOUS by the way!).  It would be great if you could get a scaled down version though and I'm sure someone on Etsy can make them for you if you don't want to use the original seller.

I think it all depends on how you are planning on wearing your hair and if you're wearing a veil or not. If you're wearing a veil I'd skip the earrings and I personally feel that if you were planning on wearing your hair down it'd make it a softer look and those earrings could be fantastic - however if you're wearing your hair up it might make you look a bit unbalanced. I'm a massive fan of the big earrings look for a wedding day!

@charm bracelet- I have the exact same idea as you! I'm wearing something simple/classic for the ceremony (diamonds or pearls) and then changing to chandelier earrings for the reception. I just don't want to look like I'm wearing costume jewelry for the ceremony. But I love big earrings too, so I'm definitely wearing them for the party.

Thanks for the input ladies, you all have great ideas.  I like the idea of an earring change for sure.

@MissSparkle---I am not not wearing a viel, and I am wearing my hair down! I have very long wavy hair.

I may try to get these made a tad smaller.....But I SURE DO LOVE THEM!

I would say go for it.  If you try the whole outfit on before the big day and find out that they just don't feel right to you, you can always sell them here on the bee. They're gorgeous earrings.

@ Morkie--- in the photo it does have the brooch----but my dress will be brooch-less, and strapless.

@fanatic---LOL, thanks for pointing out the obvious that I keep forgetting....Just because I buy them doesn't mean I HAVE to wear them.  I could always have a smaller back up pair in case I change my mind!!!!

I think you should go for it - they're fab earrings and it'll look great with lots of silky, wavy long hair! Plus, as it's been said, if you put them on on the day and decide you're not feeling it then you could have some smaller back up earrings.

I think that they're gorgeous, and that they go really well! It's overall such a romantic look - I don't think they take away from your dress at all, only add to it!

I think if there is no other metal going on (i.e. no tiara, no necklace, no bracelets, no brooch), then the earrings would be FABULOUS!
