@Missus_LLC:  I’ve used slimquick…it suppresse dmy appetite but then gave me bad stomach cramps, so not so much…I’m currently trying PGX-it was on sale for super cheap so I figured why not…only on day 2 though.

Fiance is a huge gym/supplement guy, and he says that the best thing to buy is CLA (especially in the US since it’s super cheap there). It will suppress your appetite and burn fat.

I have family members who used hydroxycut. While it did work and they lost a considerable amount of weight, they gained it all back as soon as they stopped taking it. Pills like that aren’t exactly something that you can take forever (at least you shouldn’t) so you’re bound to gain back at least some of the weight eventually.

I’ve been taking OxyElite Pro from GNC for about two weeks. It’s pretty intense and I’ve had some good results from it! I wouldn’t recommend it if you are really sensitive to caffeine though. I also took an acai berry cleanse that I picked up at Wal Mart a while back and it’s great for getting rid of bloat.

IMO, all that stuff is utter crap. Eat less, exercise more, that’s it. For me, I do not eat carbs after lunch and keeping track of every bite I eat really helps. I thank sparkpeople.com for the 60 lbs. I lost.

They have  ton of resources and they are totally free!

I would be careful with Oxyelite Pro. I took it for 2 weeks and ended up in the ER one night with stabbing chest pains and a $4300 bill to show for my stupidity (thankfully insurance paid for most of it).  I won’t touch any of that crap again.  As a nurse I should have known better but just wanted to lose some weight.  If you do decide to take it just be very careful.  Make sure you drink a TON of water with it or it will make you sick(like 90-100 oz a day at least).

I took hydroxycut for a week.  I didn’t sleep for the entire week (with no additional caffeine).  I had the shakes and my heartbeat was rapid.  Given that it was only a week, I didn’t notice any more weight loss than diet and exercise would have done.  Honestly, skip these diet pills, they’re bad news!
