Fade creams are very variable in effectiveness, and when it comes down to it don't work very well. Perhaps you can see a dermatologist who can guide you in ways that will be productive.
I have had success with Proactive's green tea moisturizer. I had some hyperpigmentation on my chest from acne and now its almost 100% gone!
I also used spot treatment from porselene. it works but takes a long while!
The ingredient Niacin works very well on hyperpigmentation. I have the beginnings of it and this sunscreen has lightened them very nicely. It's pricey but you use very little so the tube lasts a long time. I would see a derm or a skin specialist. You could be a good candidate for chemical peels.

I have brown spots all over my face, mostly from all the tanning I did in college but also I suspect from my birth control (I can't stop taking it, I have dysmenorrhea like nobody's business). I'd like to try to lessen the appears of these lovely spots before the wedding. Has anyone used anything for this? Anything that's not too expensive?
Thanks!
