Boy, did I! I kept thinking, oh no, what if there's a misspelling, or a mistake, or we've forgotten something important, of the final color combo comes out all strange...but of course everything went just fine and we couldn't be happier with the results! Just wait until your RSVPs start coming in...that's when I had a 'hold crap I guess we're doing this' moment...
@cz1789: Oh jeez, I read over the proofs a million times, FI did too and took my boss at work to notice we hadn't put the reception time on them! I about had a heart attack! Yeah the first RSVP is gonna get framed or scrapbooked for sure!
When I got them it was like...ummmmmmmm these are invitations, to my wedding, my wedding that is coming up. Needless to say I got a bit overwhelmed.
All good now. :)
That's so exciting! I had somewhat of the same thing last night when I ordered our save-the-dates!
It didn't really hit me until after the invitation plates were ordered, after we inked and pressed them...once I dropped them off at the post office, THAT'S when it hit me! It was a total WHOOSH - this is happening, and we just invited a sh*t-ton of people!
@zagora: Lol, we still have to pare down our guest list before mailing, but we are expecting about 150. I didn't know we knew that many people lol!
@MissPumpkinPie: Have you picked them already? I was fussy, couldn;t find anything I liked, so we jired a designer. Best Idea EVER for us!
@Miss Orchard: We were lazy...we did save the date magnets...I forgot to put our names on them (brilliant). We only gave them out to close family and friends, so we've decided to mail them in our invitiations since we are sending them out SO early (March for an August wedding). It's sort of destination, so we thought the magnets would be a good reminder for everyone! Plus then I don't feel so guilty for buying them and doing nothing, like I have our xmas cards for the past 3 years...
@Treejewel19: I am sure the overwhelming part will hit as soon as they arrive and we see how much cutting and gluing we need to do :(

Yikes, I just had a minor panic attack. Ordered our invites through C&P, now the wait. It;s official, we're getting married lol.
Caught me off guard that moment of "Holy shit it's happening"!
Anyone else have that when they hit the go button on their invites?
