If your line is colored and not gray… slim to none. If the line is gray, it’s an evaporation line. Home pregnancy tests are about 99% accurate and more likely to be a false negative than a false positive.

With blue dye tests actually not that low.  I had one once.  Extremely thin line, and more towards the side of the test window than in the middle.  It wasn’t grey.  My BFP looked similar, but a thicker line.

Never heard of a false positive with pink dye or digital.

You’re generally not likely to have false positives.  It is possible to have a chemical pregnancy that appears to be a false positive though.  There is a website that explains about the different types and their sensitivities.  I think it’s called peeonastick.com.

@PrettyInInk_85:  If you got a positive on a digital… you’re most likely pregnant. I’d call your doctor to confirm. I’ve never heard of a digital being wrong.

@PrettyInInk_85:  The digital ones?  If it says pregnant, then you are pregnant.

Most digitals claim to be 99% (or more) accurate.  So TECHNICALLY, you have about a 1% chance of not being pregnant.  With that being said, most of the companies that produce pregnancy tests under-state the accuracy for “general use”- they have to account for all the people that don’t pee on a stick correctly:)

Good luck either way!
