@noenyu: i'll be in the same boat! we're getting married on saturday then going on honeymoon for a week and then it's back to long distance :/

Me too!! We got married, then 3 months later DH was off to the Navy and will be in school for a year 5 hours away. It's not how I ever envisioned my first year of marriage going, but in the end, it's going to give us incredible opportunities, so it's worth it.
We get to see each other about once a month and we call/Skype frequently, so it's not as bad as boot camp where we only had letters for 2 months!!
It sucks being in a long-distance marriage... people think we're nuts!

So this is a little bittersweet for me. I got married on October 6th and just got back from our destination wedding yesterday. I’m so happy and excited to now be a Mrs. and hold the title of Wife (specifically his wife!) yet today sucks lol. I dropped my husband off at the airport today and he is now back in Canada. At least he left as my husband and we can get the paperwork going and finally be able to be together without having to leave each other right?
Anyone else married and still waiting to be with your SO?
