Ok, not really, but I did dream about it a lot last night!

Yesterday I finally received my shipment of 110lb card stock! It was almost like buying a wedding gown, I'd seen a sample of it almost 2 months ago, but quickly cut it up and used it for belly bands on my wedding party invites (http://boards.weddingbee.com/topic/my-first-diy-project-wedding-party-invites), and had to wait until now to see it again.

Thank goodness it was as lovely as I remembered it, with a soft linen feel, lightly textured, and the perfect shades of moss green and butter cream. I was actually petting it last night! I just can't wait to start making my STD card mock ups (which I'll share on here when they're done).

I then proceeded to dream about the paper all night, about all the wonderful things I could do with it, things not even wedding related....oh the possibilities!

Have any of you gotten really into scrapbooking or other paper crafts after doing DIY invites for your wedding?

I got the card stock from LCI Paper.  It's not cheap, but really, really nice quality...oh no, don't get me started daydreaming again!  I'll be layering it with a more budget priced lavender 65lb card stock from Paper and More.  I sent away for so many samples before I found the three that matched my colors perfectly.

    Green: http://www.lcipaper.com/VV811-HER.html

    Lavender: http://www.paperandmore.com/card_stock_65_orchid.html

    Butter Cream: http://www.lcipaper.com/VV811-EBO.html

(P.S. the Butter Cream is actually a bit lighter colored than pictured on their website.  And the thicker card stock does work in my HP Deskjet printer, if I feed it one at a time.)
