$30 for a handmade bowl?? Sounds reasonable to me! If I made it, I'd charge someone $60! lol. It's super adorable though, I like birds and my mom doesn't understand. Oh well, tweet, tweet!
@ Virginia - Yeah, it is handmade but did you notice how tiny it is? It's 2 inches x 2.5 inches! I just couldn't see me paying $30 for it! I love miniatures, but I'm not gonna go that far lol.
If the bowl were bigger, and I could put flowers or something in it, it would totally be worth it though!

This is a random painting I did a while back. It's not really anything in particular, just painting for the sake of painting, but I put birds in it to add to the whimsical theme I had going on. I love it. Nothing spectacular, I'm not really a professional painter and don't even consider myself that good, but I like painting and it makes me happy so what the heck. lol But yeah, birds! lol

I, too, am in love with birds! That's what our kitchen is being done in! In a subtle way, of course! This is who our inspiration is... we're planning on buying quite a few of her pieces to put in our kitchen/dining room! I just love her stuff :]
@ RenoRose - I LOVE your painting! Did you paint those birds by hand?! They are so good - they look like stencils or something! I wish I could do that.. I mean, I paint sometimes, but I don't think I could paint quite that well. I would totally hang your painting in my house :)

@ Valhalla & Miss Chocolate - BOTH of those women are super-talented. I absolutely LOVED their artwork *sigh* (now I'm thinking about trying to paint some things - I just know I'll get frustrated though because it won't look like those paintings :P
@ okqueenbee, thanks :) that makes me feel good. I really just paint for the fun of it, I don't really know anything about technique. I did paint the birds by hand but I had an inspiration right next to it so I could look at it for reference. Thank you for your compliment. :)

It is just so so cute! My best friend absolutely HATES birds, so she totally doesn't get me on this one, but I just can't help it. A few years ago when the bird fashion/art started coming out, I just fell in love with it. Makes me happy to look at it :)
